New here

Never been to church on a Saturday?

Most people who visit haven't. Here is the short version. The long one, with parking, kids, and a note from Pastor David, is on the visit page.

Saturday is the Sabbath

Adventists rest on the seventh day, Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. Worship is at 11 and lasts about 75 minutes.

Wear what you'd wear to lunch

A few suits, a lot of sweaters. Nobody will ask you to stand up or say anything.

Lunch is on us

On the 2nd and 4th Sabbaths we eat together downstairs. It's vegetarian, usually a haystack bar. Guests go first.

What we believe

What Adventists believe, in plain words.

  1. Jesus saves us by grace. Not by how good we are, and not by keeping rules.
  2. The Bible is our guide. We read it together, and we take it seriously.
  3. The Sabbath is a gift. Every Saturday we stop working and rest with God, family, and friends.
  4. Jesus is coming back. That gives us hope, and a reason to care for our neighbors now.
  5. Health is part of faith. Many of us are vegetarian, and we teach cooking classes for anyone.
